Hi, I'm Martial

I started MARS because ambitious businesses keep getting out-marketed rather than out-competed. The companies beating you in search usually match you on the work itself. What they have is a team, an agency, or systems running quietly in the background that join everything up. The gap is ownership of the whole picture.

Closing that gap takes one senior person who can see the full picture and build what the business actually needs. Twelve years with companies in the US, France and the UK taught me how to blend strategy, design and practical marketing into something that moves a number.

I am direct about what works and where the results actually come from. Clients stay involved at the level that suits them.

How I Work With You

Here’s how I approach every project and what you can expect when we work together.

Start with a conversation

We talk through your goals, your customers and what you need the marketing to achieve. New website, stronger search visibility, better messaging, or all three. I ask questions, share where I think the opportunity sits, and help you define what success looks like as a number rather than a feeling.

Build a clear plan

Before anything gets designed, you get a focused plan setting the direction. What we are doing, why, and how each part supports the wider goal. Every deliverable named and dated.

Design and develop

This is where it becomes real. Clean, fast pages, content and systems that feel intentional. SEO is built in from day one rather than added later, which costs a fraction of retrofitting it.

Support and improve

Once it is live I stay close. Updates, questions and ongoing input across the website, search and wider marketing. Launching is the start of the useful part.

I am happiest when life is simple and grounded. Time with my family keeps everything in perspective and helps me turn up to projects calm and focused.

Rugby on the weekends

I play for Eastbourne RFC. Twenty-five years of rugby taught me resilience, discipline and how to stay composed when a plan stops working. Those show up in how I run projects.

A real interest in wine

Wine has run through my life for years. I studied winemaking, worked in wineries, and now handle digital strategy for wine businesses in California and France. I like the craft, the stories and the people behind it.

Exploring Eastbourne

Most days you will find me walking by the sea or picking up a coffee in town between meetings. Eastbourne is a good place to think.
