I am Martial Chaput, a digital marketing consultant based in Eastbourne. Over 12 years working across web design, SEO, and email marketing in East Sussex, the UK, France, and the US, I have built one operating principle: the same person who plans the strategy should do the technical build. No hand-offs, no account managers, no gap between thinking and doing.

Hi, I’m Martial

I started MARS because I’ve seen how much difference clear, smart digital work can make for small and mid-sized businesses. I’ve been in this field for over 12 years and have worked with companies in the US, France and the UK. That mix taught me how to blend strategy, design and practical marketing in a way that actually moves the needle.

I focus on websites and SEO that feel clean, fast and easy to use. I like keeping clients involved without overwhelming them, and I’m upfront about what works, what doesn’t and where the real results come from.

What you can expect when we work together:

You own all your marketing assets (website, hosting account, domain name, content).

No conflicts of interest. I don’t work with direct competitors in the same area, so my focus stays on helping your business grow.

Family comes first

I’m happiest when life is simple and grounded. Time with my wife, Molly, and son keeps everything in perspective and helps me show up to projects calm, steady, and focused.

A lifelong learner

I enjoy exploring new ideas. I stay curious about design, SEO, UX, AI search and anything else that helps me bring better thinking to client work. I like knowing how things work and why they matter.

Rugby on the weekends

I play for Eastbourne RFC. 25 years of rugby have taught me resilience, discipline, teamwork and how to stay composed under pressure. Those qualities show up in the way I manage projects and support clients.

A real interest in wine

Wine has been a thread through my life for years. I studied winemaking, worked in wineries and now help wine businesses with digital strategy through Newtimer. I enjoy the craft, the stories and the people behind it.

Still making music

I had my days playing in a rock band in Los Angeles and touring across the US. These days I’m happiest playing acoustic guitar at home for my son. Music has always been a good reset and a reminder to enjoy the moment.

Exploring Eastbourne

I enjoy being outdoors. Most days you’ll find me walking by the sea or grabbing a coffee in town between meetings. Eastbourne is a good place to think and create.

Once everything is live, I stay close. I’m here for updates, questions and ongoing input across your website, SEO and wider marketing. The goal isn’t just to launch. It’s to keep improving.
